4 ply, lace or DK Winter sky indie dyed yarn

Winter sky can yarn is hand dyed in soft hues of (colours). This wool is soft, strong and lustrous. The colours are silky and shining. It would make a perfect shawl! It can also be used for socks, jumpers or items requiring some strength. This yarn has sheen and is springy and sleek.

Choose your option of yarn base from merino nylon (75/25), merino lurex (with added sparkles) or DK.

Lace baby alpaca 800m, 100g skein. 100% baby alpaca Recommended needle size: 3-4mm (US 2-6). Gauge (in stockinette stitch): 32 stitches x 40 rows = 10x10cm (4x4 inches) with 3.5mm needles (US 3).

Merino Nylon 4 ply 400m, 100g skein. Merino (75%), Nylon (25%). Recommended needle size: 2.5 - 4 mm (1-6 US) Gauge (in stockinette stitch): 28 stitches and 36 rows for a 10 x 10 cm square (4 inches) with 3.25 mm (US 1) needles.

Merino Lurex (merino 75%, nylon 20%, lurex 5%) 400m, 100g skein. Recommended needle size: 2.5 - 4mm (US 1-6). Gauge (stocking stitch): 28sts x 36 rows = 10cm/4 inches on 3.25mm (US 3) needles

DK Alpaca OR Merino 225 meters, 100g skein. Recommended needle Size: 3.5 - 4.5mm (US 4 - 7) needles. Gauge (stocking stitch): 22sts x 30 rows for 10cm/4 inches on 4mm (US 6) needles.

Wash by hand at 30C max. Dry flat.

Hand dyed with professional non toxic acid dyes. Washed after dyeing process. Be aware that the colour can bleed slightly during the first wash. Although we are taking great care with our photography process to be true to the real colours, your perception of them can vary from one monitor to another.
