Valromey

is hand dyed in soft hues of deep blue, green and yellow with speckles This wool is soft, strong and lustrous. This colourway was inspired by my favourite valley in the south of Jura, France: Valromey. Deep blue, vibrant green, dashes of yellow and speckles of coral and blue. Sky, pasture, flowers. It’s all there.

The colours are vibrant and shining. It would make a perfect shawl. It can also be used for socks, jumpers or items requiring some strength.

This yarn has sheen and is springy and sleek.

Gauge (in stockinette stitch): 28 stitches and 36 rows for a 10 x 10 cm square (4 inches) with 3.25 mm (US 1) needles.

Wash by hand at 30C max. Dry flat.
Hand dyed with professional non toxic acid dyes. Washed after dyeing process. Be aware that the colour can bleed slightly during the first wash.
